CAFE seeking Eastern European Development Officer – full time
Salary circa 12,000 Euros per year
A new organisation has been set up to build on the good work of the National Association of
Disabled Supporters (www.nads.org.uk) in England and Wales across Europe, with the help
of a funding award from UEFA.
This organisation is CAFE – Centre for Access to Football in
Europe (www.cafefootball.eu).
CAFE is seeking a dynamic and self motivated Development Officer for Eastern Europe. The successful candidate will report directly to the CAFE Managing Director and work closely with the CAFE Administration Manager.
This full time role will be self-employed and home based with the successful candidate living within Eastern Europe. The candidate must have access to a computer and communications and must be computer literate. An understanding of supporters' networks will be important and outline knowledge of pan-disability access requirements for disabled supporters at sports stadia will be an advantage.
Key responsibilities for the Eastern European region include:
- identifying and building a network of local and regional disabled supporters;
- sharing all CAFE disability and access information;
- reporting back key issues to CAFE operational staff;
- promoting good practice and gathering access information for disabled supporters who will visit EURO 2012; activities & projects.
This role includes foreign travel and the successful candidate must be fluent in English (verbal and written) and able to speak (and write) Polish and Ukrainian.
